MetaMeta is a social enterprise that delivers practical solutions for sustainable water and land management, climate resilience, and green infrastructure. The organisation cooperates with governments, universities, and NGOs, and coordinates SMART Centres in nine African countries. The activities of Tiyeni and MetaMeta is complementary; we have partnered together on projects such as MetaMeta's SMART Centre in Malawi, where we worked on water well initiatives to support sustainable development for communities. Increases in communities’ livelihood assets from this project, which were achieved through water pump installation and Deep Bed Farming, have enabled families to reach the first stage of basic water security for the first time. MetaMeta also supports Tiyeni through strong advocacy efforts; MetaMeta presents regularly at international conferences about Deep Bed Farming in connection with their work for self-supply of water resources.
