A “sister society” to the Malawi Scotland Partnership, the Scotland Malawi Partnership (SMP) is the national civil society network coordinating, supporting, and representing the people-to-people links between Scotland and Malawi. The SMP represents a community of 109,000 Scots with active links to Malawi. Tiyeni was invited to be a member of the SMP in 2023, prior to our registration in Scotland, testifying to our strong links with Malawi. Since becoming a cross-border charity in 2024, Tiyeni has built upon this relationship to grow our presence and advocacy efforts in Scotland.
