Tiyeni delivers training to smallholder farmers across all of Malawi’s three regions.
We shall not have to go to South Africa because we can find prosperity here at home. |

Tiyeni is run by Malawians, for Malawians, with backing from our UK fundraising arm. Tiyeni began in Malawi’s northern region, where some of Malawi’s poorest people live. We continue to operate in the north, where we run one of our training hotspots. Our office is also located in this region’s most populous city, Mzuzu. Once farmers began experiencing all the benefits of Deep Bed Farming, Tiyeni began receiving requests from farmers all over the country, so we established hotspots in Malawi’s central and southern regions as well. The interactive map pinpoints areas where farmers have adopted Deep Bed Farming as well as the location of our office.
Currently, all of Tiyeni’s work is delivered in Malawi. Farmer demand for our training is greater than what we have the capacity to provide, and our first priority is to meet that demand. However, Deep Bed Farming has the potential to transform lives and regenerate ecosystems across much of sub-Saharan Africa. We hope to deliver our Deep Bed Farming training to nearby countries as part of our longer-term strategic vision. |
